You might have noticed that the city seems to have been painted yellow and black – no, Nelson hasn’t suddenly become Hurricane supporters – it is the Nelson Arts Festival programme. Recently unveiled at the program launch, the cover is vibrant and instantly recognisable, with a bright and smiley portrait of a mystery woman (we have had to respond to quite a few questions about who this person really is). We chose a design style that is reminiscent of Andy Warhol, as well as street artist Banksy. Make sure you grab your copy of the programme, with a fantastic array of shows to go to, available from iSites and various other places around the city.
